Keep an eye out for February's issue of Chandler Ocotillo's, Stroll, magazine! Every month Stroll magazine highlights a different Chandler family and this upcoming month the LeDoux family is being featured. Tiffany LeDoux has been a Darwin Wall Team member for several years now and just this past month her daughter Brooke has joined the DWT as well! We are so excited to have another LeDoux as part of the DW Team! When Tiffany and Brooke aren’t selling homes, they like to travel with their family and explore new places.
This February's issue of Stroll also includes a section highlighting the Darwin Wall Team’s community involvement. The magazine mentioned the DWT’s successful Save Second Base Pub Crawl they hosted this past October. With the help of the Chandler community, the Darwin Wall Team raised $30,000 to help two local recipients through their battle with breast cancer. In addition to the DWT’s breast cancer awareness pub crawl, they also will be hosting their 3rd annual charity golf tournament, Teeing Off for Cancer. The golf tournament will be held May 13th at Springfield golf resort in Chandler. Tee-off starts bright and early at 7 am! Look out for additional information about sign-up coming soon for the event. One of the Darwin Wall Team’s listings is featured in February’s issue of Stroll as well! 1954 E Grand Canyon Dr is a beautiful single-level open-concept home on a corner lot. This Chandler home has been so well maintained and its original owners have taken great care in adding improvements to the home. If you would like more info on this property or would like to schedule a private viewing reach out to the Darwin Wall Team! This month AZ Central posted an HGTV-like article about Rebecca Wade's process of finding her dream home. Wade viewed over 40 prospective properties with the help of her realtor who happened to be our very own Darwin Wall. Rebecca knew she wanted to be in the Chandler-Gilbert area and required that her new home was roomy enough for her and her two children. Darwin showed Rebecca numerous homes that fit her criteria over the course of last year.
After viewing an abundance of properties Wade decided that she wanted to place an offer on a 3 bedroom, 2-and-a-half bathroom home in Gilbert. Rebecca fell in love with the home's resort-style backyard and her offer of $60,000 over asking price was accepted. Rebecca went to show her kids their new home they would be living in and was excited for them to see the backyard she fell in love with. This time however, the backyard did not feel like an oasis due to the loud noise coming from the nearby Sonic's drive through. After much thought Rebecca decided that she didn't want the Sonic's noisy drive through to interfere with her privacy and ended up backing out of escrow on the property. Rebecca was now back at square one! With the help of Darwin she decided to put an offer on a home located in the neighborhood of Felty Farms. Her offer was accepted and she closed on the home this past March. Rebecca wasn't a huge fan of the home at first, but now that her and her family have settled in she is growing to love it more and more each day. Rebecca sees her home being a potential rental property in the future. Buying a home isn't an easy process, but Darwin helped Rebecca and her family find a home that works for them (and doesn't have a fast food restaurant in their backyard!). Wow! What a year it has been! The Darwin Wall Team is so grateful to have had yet another successful year. Despite the market adjusting from the pandemic, the DWT continued to sell a plethora of listings and helped their buyers find their dream homes. Our highest sale of the year was a stunning custom home in Paradise Valley that closed at $7,150,000. and our lowest sale was a mobile home located in Casa Grande. We sold it all this year from mobile homes to multi-million dollar mansions! We take pride in our diversity and being able to assist sellers and buyers in every type of market. Throughout the past year, we sold homes all throughout Arizona from San Tan Valley all the way to Pinketop-Lakeside. We are eager to see what 2023 has in store for us! Aside from our success in the real estate market, the primary reason 2022 was such a great year for the DWT is due to our community involvement. We hosted our annual charity golf tournament in May and had our 9th annual breast cancer awareness pub crawl at the end of October. Both events were nothing short of a success. In addition to these two events, we hosted a coat drive for Gilbert students in need of winter coats this past month. Giving back to our community is something we as the Darwin Wall Team hold very near and dear to our hearts. Aside from supporting a tremendous cause, these charity events bring our team closer than ever before. In preparation for these events, all hands are on deck and our team spends countless hours working together to ensure the event is successful. We are looking forward to another great year with a great team!
Throughout the past month, the Darwin Wall Team has been collecting coats for the students of Gilbert Elementary. This was the DWT's second annual coat drive for Gilbert Elementary. This past Friday the Darwin Wall Team went to Gilbert Elementary to deliver the coats to the students in person. It is such a special feeling to know we are having a direct impact on the children in our community and being able to provide them with warm winter coats for the season. The students of Gilbert Elementary were able to pick out their favorite coat from the large selection that was donated. The students were more than appreciative for their new coats and seeing their smiles on their face warmed our hearts.
We as the Darwin Wall Team want to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to our coat drive. The event's success would not have been possible without everyone's support and contribution. It is such a great feeling to be able to give back to our community and see first hand the children who we are helping. The Darwin Wall Team makes it a priority to give back and we are looking forward to more events like this in the future. If you keep up to date with the DWT's social media, you likely have seen posts of our team member, Joe Ercoli, also known as the orange truck guy. Joe is easily recognizable by being decked out in his DWT and Orange Truck real estate merch. Joe drives an impressive old-school Ford 100 truck that is bright orange. The 51-year-old truck is assured to make you do a double take while Joe is cruising down the road. Joe hosts his infamous cars and coffee event every third Saturday of the month at Top Fuel Espresso. Car owners of all makes, models, and years come to participate in the fun event ranging from a 1970 Fiat 500 to a decked-out Mustang. Car enthusiasts from all over the valley come together over their love for cars and to enjoy a nice cup of joe (no pun intended). Joe's cars and coffee event continues to grow monthly, especially now since the weather is so enjoyable. Start your day off right this Saturday morning by coming to Cars and Coffee bright and early. The event is held at Top Fuel Espresso, located right on Guadalupe and Cooper Rd in Gilbert. Be sure to stop by 7 - 10 am to see Joe with his Old Orange truck along with all the other cars!
This upcoming Saturday on November 19th Mike's League bar is hosting a charity golf tournament in order to raise funds for sports programs for kids with physical and cognitive disabilities. Mike's league was founded in hopes to remove the barriers and limitations placed on children with disabilities. The organization has a goal to create opportunities for children with disabilities that allow for them to thrive and grow. Getting children involved in sports is a phenomenal way for them to experience triumph and grow both physically and socially.
The golf tournament will be held a Springfield Golf located in Chandler. Enjoy your Saturday by playing some golf! Spots are still available to participate in this tremendous event. Foursomes cost $400 and include 18 holes of golf, alcohol tasting throughout the tournament , warm-up driving range time, golf carts, and a light lunch that will be served at the end of the tournament. If you can't make the event there are still ways you can help support! Mike's League will be holding an online auction which can be accessed here. Don't miss out on some amazing items including a trip to Myrtle beach, a Kentucky Bourbon Tasting Tour, and signed jerseys from notable athletes including Gale Sayers. For more information regarding the event or to learn more about the organization you can visit their website at mikeysleague.org/Golf/. Whew! What a weekend! We are still on a high from our 9th annual Save Second Base Pub Crawl that took place two weekends ago. It was great to see everyone come together for a great cause. We started off the party at Craft 64 for happy hour Friday afternoon. The large crowd then disbursed to the other eight bars located all over Downtown Chandler. The night ended with live music and beer pongs at Bourbon Jacks! Saturday morning we were back at it bright and early! An intense corn hole tournament took place Saturday morning on Quarthaus's lawn. Following the corn hole tournament, a beer pong tournament took place at the Stillery with all of the lender sponsors from the event. It was so great to see the sea of pink shirts flood the streets of Downtown Chandler!
We want to say a huge thank to anyone who helped support our Save Second Base event in any capacity. Our event is a success because of your guy's unconditional support! Through our 600 pub crawl ticket sales, raffle tickets, and Go Fund Me page we raised a total of $30,000 for our two recipients. It was such a special moment giving Shannon and Ronni their checks. Their positive and bright energy is so contagious. We are so grateful the two of them opened up and shared their stories with us. We are already looking forward to our 10th annual pub crawl event that will take place October of next year. Before then we will be hosting our 3rd annual charity golf tournament in the spring. We as the Darwin Wall Team make it a priority to give back to our community and love to see others in the community come together to support a great cause all the while having fun. Get excited! Our 9th annual Save Second Base pub crawl is coming up next weekend October 21st & 22nd! It is going to be a great time and in support of a tremendous cause. This year, the pub crawl will be donating all of its proceeds to two local receipts, Ronni and Shannon. Ronni and Shannon are Chandler locals who are both battling breast cancer. We are so honored and fortunate to have Ronni and Shannon apart of this year's pub crawl.
We are super pumped to have 9 participating bars at this year's pub crawl. Some bars have been OG's since the start and some are joining us for the first time. The 9 bars apart of this year's pub crawl are the Perch, Bourbon Jacks, Murphy's Law, The Uncommon, Craft 64, Quarthaus, The Stillery, Recreo, and Santan Brewery. Each bar has a unique atmosphere and is assured to be a great time! Whether your beer bonging at Bourbon Jacks or playing old school arcade games at The Uncommon this year's pub crawl will be nothing short of a fun weekend. A corn hole tournament will be held on QuartHaus's lawn Saturday October 22nd during the day starting at 10am. Bring your partner and your best toss! For more information on registration head over to https://app.scoreholio.com/share/28r. We can't wait to see the sea of pink shirts take over Downtown Chandler. Click here to purchase your tickets for the pub crawl if you haven't already. Tickets include a free drink at each of 9 bars, a state-forty eight event shirt, and a swag bag filled with goodies from out event's sponsors. Get ready for yet another great event! |
